I neglected my euphorbia plant all the time. It was mine because I bought it at the Agro-Horticultural Society Fair in 2004 as a biology-obsessed kid and watered it intermittently. It gave out beautiful saucer-like flowers for five years and attracted all sorts of creepy crawlies, including this one, right till a few months before it officially stopped living.

I could write a haiku about rebirth but this photo, this peepul sapling, this, I think, should do.

It is early morning, my final exams are on, and I decide to go out with my camera. Right outside my building I meet flowers of the deepest fuchsia. I miss breakfast and walk on, but those pictures will come another day.
